A Word About The Great Character Actors

In creating this Website to honor the Great Character Actors I have tried to include as much data as possible. It is difficult to list all film and TV credits for these actors as many were so prolific in their careers. Since we are limited of space I must confine film & TV credits pretty much to: film classics, popular TV series, best known roles, my own personal favorites and landmark roles (such as film debuts, films that launched careers, Oscar winning roles, final films, etc.). Photo selection is also often difficult as in some cases there are so many to choose from and in some cases very few. I try to choose photos that best depict the actors as we remember them. Some are from newspaper or magazine photos and are poor in quality. I apologize for these but they are all that were available. I would welcome input as to sources of photos, additional biographical and filmography and television information but please include your source and bibliography as we strive for 100% accuracy. I would also welcome corrections, spell checks, suggestions and additional information on biographies and filmographies. It should be noted that actors who were listed as passing away in Woodland Hills, Cailfornia most likely were staying at the Motion Picture Country Home for retired actors and movie personnel.
